I am a Dallas, TX based video editor. I began editing when I was 16, and immediately fell in love with the process. Since then, I’ve had many opportunities to pursue this passion across multiple different mediums and spaces. I began my professional work in commercials, with Fireside Films in Baton Rouge, La. I learned valuable skills here, entirely transitioning from my foundational education within Premiere Pro, to editing within DaVinci Resolve. I also learned to color correct and color grade at this position, within DaVinci Resolve. I was very blessed to have an amazing mentor, and a team that encouraged my pursuit of education within editing, making the pursuit of such so much easier than it could’ve been. From there, I moved out of Louisiana to be back with family in Texas- where my heart always was.

I got an opportunity with TBNR in Dallas, the umbrella company of the Arsement Family YouTube channels. In my position here, I learned all the technical aspects of YouTube editing, as well as YouTube Studio. I learned to interpret retention graphs, CTR, and how to maximize Average View Duration utilizing what these statistics told us each video. I also became incredibly efficient, regularly working with quick turns and a returning audience. After a couple years with this company, I made the jump to freelance editing, where I am now.
